Wooden Quilt Block Contect Additional Meeting

The Granges of Venango County are sponsoring a Wooden Quilt Block Contest. These are 2'x2' designed and painted quilt blocks. An additional meeting has been scheduled for  November 22, 2011

at the Scrubgrass Grange from 6:30 – 8:30 with a follow-up meeting date to be determined.

All materials will be provided

A contest will be held in the spring at the “4-H in the Mall” activity day where all blocks will be displayed. Monetary awards will be given to the top 3 placings in both the 4-H division and the adult division. Awards will be as follows: (Grange members are not eligible for prize monies)

Youth Class: 1st - $25., 2nd - $15., 3rd - $10. Adult Class: 1st - $25., 2nd - $15., 3rd - $10.

If you are interested, let one of the leaders know and maybe we could carpull over on the 22nd. Sounds like an evening of fun.
