1. NO MEETING December 17!! - Next meeting December 31 - 3pm til 6 ish- we will be taking down the Christmas decorations at the Community Building

2. Great job at the Salem Community Party - even though we were low in help you pulled together and made it a success!

3. Speaking of success the benefit to help the Apel Family with Christmas expenses was a huge success. Garrett spent a lot of time counting dimes and quarters but the final count is TADA..............$189.60. Julie will be writing the check and mailing it to the family along with some pictures. A Big Thank-you to Joe Dittman, former 4-H parent, who donated the use of his horse and buggy and provided rides to help with the benefit. If you see Joe at Knox Country Farm Supply take time to Thank him personally.

4. Caleb and McKenna made an executive decision at the last moment when Venango's Edge was again asked to do the Easter Egg Hunt in Salem. They agreed that yes we would do it. Thanks for making the decision for the club.

5. Lily Sheatz is organizing a pot luck meal following take down of Christmas trees at the building on our regular meeting date but changing the times so if families have traditional New Year's events we aren't messing them up. We will meet at the building at 3pm on the 31st. We will work as quickly and neatly as possible to put the building back to it's original boring. We will have a short meeting and if there is time, some games until 5p.m. This is a family event. As I understand the Sheatz family is providing sandwiches and each family is asked to bring either a side or desert to share. Lily will be contacting each family.
