Livestock Subjects to Date

Here is a listing of the Livestock Subjects that we have covered and should be in your portfolio's when you turn in your record books.

Selection - describe how you selected your animal
Feeds- Write what and how you would feed your animal as if leaving directions for someone while you go on vacation
Animal Handling- look around the area that your animals are worked with- identify some distractions and see if there are ways to correct them, then write what you will do
Animal Parts- complete your animal diagrams
