Showmanship tips

So I see that some are looking into the trivia too! Yesterday's answer was all but Hillary Clinton. So ladies 4-H can go right to the White House or beyond!

Today's Trivia question:  Has there ever been a 4-H alumni serve as an astronaut? If so Who?

Today's activity I need you to have parent permission before you begin

 I would like the livestock kids to take a look on youtube and search "Purina Mills showmanship" you can then watch some of the video how to's on how to show your animal. You can also search "Weaver Leather Livestock" and do the same search. Both of these companies have good showmanship videos and ideas on how to train your animals. If they say something that your not sure about- write down the question and then let me know.  When you are done watching a few videos- please write a paragraph about what you learned about showing by watching the video's and what you are going to try to do.


Community Service: Take a little time today and make cards or write a note to an elderly person or someone in a nursing home. You could also call someone who might be lonely at this isolation time and just chat with them for a bit! Be kind and spread kindness in a safe way!!!
